Clean Lift does not collect, store, or share any personal data. Period.

Details

Clean Lift is a browser extension that extracts text from the page you are currently viewing and downloads it to your local device. The extension:

Does not contain any analytics, tracking, or advertising code.
Does not send any data to any server, including ours.
Does not access cookies, browsing history, or any data beyond the text content of the active tab.
Does not require an account or login.
Runs only when you ask it to, by clicking the toolbar button or pressing the keyboard shortcut. It does not run in the background or on pages you simply visit.

Settings stored on your device

Clean Lift saves two preferences so they persist between uses: your chosen interface language, and whether the links summary is included in the export. These are stored locally in your own browser using the standard extension storage area. They contain no personal information, are never transmitted anywhere, and are deleted when you uninstall the extension.

The exported file

The text file Clean Lift produces is created in your browser and saved directly to your device by your browser's own download mechanism. Its contents never pass through us or any third party. Once saved, the file is yours alone, and we have no access to it or knowledge of it.

Data we do not collect

We do not collect any data. The extension runs entirely in your browser and communicates only with the local page you are viewing.

Clean Lift does not include any third-party services, SDKs, or external requests.
